Today’s Poetry
Don’t act like it never ended, you saw the pain you put me through
Don’t pretend it don’t deserve an ending — you know what they did to me because of you
You still hunt for more ground after being the clown
But your word don’t mean a damn thing to me now
Your silly moves ain’t even jokes, just a ridiculous cue
You had your fun, stacked your money, now you preachin’ ’bout my loyalty?
Tell your pawns to stay the hell away from me
I’m way above your mediocrity
Keep grinnin’ like a fool with a smile not worth a dime
You’re just a crook — I ain’t your diner and I sure ain’t your personal cook
Keep playin’ smart when we all know you’re below average
You made it crystal clear, hypocrisy is your dirty beverage
I like champagne, tell me I’m to blame
You switch from flag to flag and now you wanna brag?
I’m laughin’ in your face because my fate is far away from your cage
You stay stuck in your bigotry, I’m already on a different page
